Mission
M1: Strengthening the core competence in Computer Science and Engineering throughanalytical learning and Industry - Institute interaction.
M2: Providing exposure to latest tools and technologies in the core area to design solutions and conduct investigations

Dr. Ch. B. N. Lakshmi is a distinguished academician, researcher, and administrator with over 23 years of experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, and student mentoring. She serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at TKR College of Engineering and Technology (TKRCET), Hyderabad.
She obtained her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Rayalaseema University, Kurnool, and her M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH).
Dr. Lakshmi has published 22+ research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences, including Scopus-indexed journals, Elsevier, Springer Nature, and IEEE. She has authored two textbooks and holds three published patents in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Search Systems, and Agricultural Technologies.
Her areas of expertise include Computer Networks, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Compiler Design, Operating Systems, Computer Organization & Architecture, C Programming, and Java Programming.
As Head of the Department, Dr. Lakshmi is committed to creating an academically vibrant and innovation-driven learning environment. She actively promotes Outcome-Based Education (OBE), research, hackathons, coding culture, industry collaborations, internships, placements, faculty development, and entrepreneurship. Under her leadership, the department strives to develop technically competent, ethically responsible, and industry-ready engineers equipped to address real-world challenges.
